Meet Our TeamAmanda Nichols, Owner/ Head Pastry Chef A 2009 graduate of Middletown HS, Amanda was accepted into the Art Institute of Atlanta, GA, and then graduated college in June 2012, receiving her AS in Culinary/Pastry Arts. She began working at local fine dining restaurant as a Pastry Chef. In March 22, 2013, Opened Half Baked Patisserie, still continuing to tap into her creative Chef side by working as the Executive Chef at Cantwell's Tavern, while her mother Tammy runs their bakery full time.
Tammy Nichols, General Manager Tammy, mother of Amanda Nichols, as 25 years business background. She began her career in business at the young age of 18 working for a large mortgage corporation for several years then moving on to MBNA until she became an entrepreneur in 2004 and began Lil Einstein’s Learning Academy. In 2012, decided to sell her Legacy and follow her daughter’s dream of opening a bakery. In 2012, Half Baked Patisserie was born. With a lot of hard work, together with friends and family, they pulled together to get Half Baked up and running. March 22, 2013 Half Baked opened its doors for the first time. Austin Markland, Head Decorator Currently the Head Cake Decorator at Half Baked Patisserie. The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY '16 Austin has his Associates in Baking and Pastry Arts and worked in Manhattan, NY at Lafayette Grand Cafe & Bakery under Chef Andrew Carmellini. Hobbies/Likes: Designing cakes, Bakery/Cafe hopping, exploring new cities, photography, experiencing unique restaurants, and hiking
Katie Stackslager, Assistant Cake Designer Katie attended Polytech High School studying Radio and Broadcasting. She then attended Salisbury University specializing is film and fine arts. She enjoys art and dancing.
Jayda Winchester, Baker Jayda graduated St George’s Vo-Tech in 2016. She currently attends Johnson & Wales University and is on track to graduate in 2018 with a degree in Baking and Pasty Arts.
